Who is Rusty Lance?
Hard-working. Honest. Conservative.
After nearly fifteen years as a representative of the marketing division of Citi Group and Solomon Smith Barney, a licensed personal banker with JPMorgan Chase, and a registered financial advisor for LPL Financial at Mountain America Credit Union, Rusty Lance transitioned his focus from wealth to health by founding Feast Mode Flavors & Nutrition.
As a successful small business owner, he has remained committed to serving and staying actively involved in the Riverton community, where he and his wife Robyn have raised their family of two sons and two daughters for the past 28 years.
Rusty believes elected representatives have a duty to keep the public informed and to protect Riverton residents from overreach at the federal, state, and county levels while preserving the values and safety that make our city exceptional.
What are Rusty’s beliefs?
Born and raised in Utah, Rusty Lance has always believed that honesty, hard work, and personal responsibility are the cornerstones of a strong and respectful community. A lifelong conservative, his values have guided him since the day he cast his first vote.
While running for Riverton City Council wasn’t always part of the plan, recent events, including the spread of what many call the “woke mind virus”, have made it impossible to stay on the sidelines. It’s time to push back against out-of-touch, unelected bureaucrats trying to reshape our town to match the West Coast.
Riverton doesn’t need a makeover, it needs a wall, and Rusty is here to build it!

Utah may pride itself on being a conservative state, but even here, government bloat is creeping in. What used to be lean, efficient, and accountable is now weighed down by layers of commissions, task forces, and bureaucrats who answer to no one. Rusty Lance believes Riverton, and Utah as a whole, needs less red tape and more common sense. It's time to cut the fat, restore local control, and remind state government that it serves the people, not the other way around.

Just a few miles from Riverton City, in Herriman, thousands of illegal immigrants are currently being housed under the radar. This is putting pressure on local resources, schools, and public safety systems that were never meant to handle this kind of burden.
Like President Trump, Rusty Lance believes in legal immigration and the rule of law, not backdoor policies forced on our communities without consent. If we don’t draw a line now, Riverton will be next. It’s time to put our citizens first and stop turning a blind eye to policies that undermine our safety, economy, and way of life.

As a member of the Riverton City Council, Rusty Lance will fight to implement real safeguards for our community. He will push for ordinances that block taxpayer-funded housing for illegal immigrants, demand full transparency from state and federal agencies operating in or near our city, and work to increase local control over zoning and resource allocation.
Rusty will also support our local law enforcement with the tools and backing they need to keep our neighborhoods safe. His priority is clear: protect Riverton families, preserve our values, and make sure our city is never forced to carry the burden of someone else's failed policies.
The real-world experience Riverton needs
Rusty Lance’s background in finance and business uniquely equips him to serve on Riverton City Council with the fiscal responsibility and practical leadership our city needs.
His years as a financial advisor have honed his ability to analyze budgets, manage resources wisely, and plan for long-term sustainability, skills critical for protecting taxpayer dollars and cutting government waste.
As a successful small business owner, he understands the challenges local entrepreneurs face and is committed to creating a pro-business environment that supports growth without unnecessary red tape. Rusty brings real-world experience, not political theory, and will fight to keep Riverton efficient, accountable, and rooted in common sense.
